User Management

Learn how to create and manage user accounts in ServX Pro.

Creating a New User

  1. Navigate to Administration → Users
  2. Click "New User"
  3. Enter user details (name, email, phone)
  4. Set username and temporary password
  5. Assign a role (determines permissions)
  6. Select accessible branches/locations
  7. Configure additional settings
  8. Click "Save" to create the user

User Information Fields

Basic Information

  • Full Name - Display name
  • Email - For login and notifications
  • Phone - Contact number
  • Employee ID - Internal reference

Login Credentials

  • Username - Unique login ID
  • Password - Secure password
  • PIN - For POS quick login
  • 2FA - Two-factor authentication

Access Settings

  • Role - Permission template
  • Branches - Accessible locations
  • Warehouses - Stock access
  • POS Terminals - Register access

Status

  • Active - Can log in
  • Inactive - Cannot log in
  • Locked - Temporarily blocked
  • Last Login - Activity tracking

User Actions

Reset Password

Send a password reset link or set a new temporary password.

Unlock Account

Unlock accounts locked due to failed login attempts.

Deactivate User

Disable login access while preserving user history.

View Activity Log

See user's login history and actions performed.

Tips

  • Use roles to manage permissions efficiently
  • Require strong passwords for security
  • Deactivate users instead of deleting to preserve history
