Solutions to common issues you may encounter while using ServX Pro.

Login Issues

Cannot log in / Invalid credentials

  • • Verify username and password are correct
  • • Check if Caps Lock is on
  • • Try resetting your password
  • • Contact administrator if account is locked

Account locked

  • • Wait 15 minutes and try again
  • • Contact administrator to unlock account
  • • Review login attempt history

Session expired

  • • Log in again with your credentials
  • • Check "Remember me" for longer sessions
  • • Contact admin to adjust session timeout

POS Issues

Receipt printer not working

  • • Check printer is powered on and connected
  • • Verify paper is loaded correctly
  • • Test print from system settings
  • • Reinstall printer driver if needed

Barcode scanner not reading

  • • Clean the scanner lens
  • • Check USB connection
  • • Ensure barcode is not damaged
  • • Try entering code manually

Cash drawer won't open

  • • Check drawer cable connection
  • • Verify drawer is configured in settings
  • • Use manual key to open if stuck
  • • Check for jammed coins/bills

Inventory Issues

Stock levels don't match physical count

  • • Check for pending transactions not yet posted
  • • Review recent stock adjustments
  • • Look for transfers in transit
  • • Perform stock count and adjust as needed

Cannot sell - shows out of stock

  • • Check stock in correct warehouse
  • • Verify POS is linked to right warehouse
  • • Check if stock is reserved for orders
  • • Review negative stock settings

Performance Issues

System running slow

  • • Clear browser cache and cookies
  • • Close unnecessary browser tabs
  • • Check internet connection speed
  • • Try a different browser
  • • Contact support if problem persists

Page not loading

  • • Refresh the page (F5 or Ctrl+R)
  • • Clear browser cache
  • • Check internet connectivity
  • • Try logging out and back in
