Learn how to create, manage, and organize your customer database in ServX Pro.

Creating a New Customer

  1. Navigate to Commercial → Customers
  2. Click the "New Customer" button
  3. Enter the account name (company or individual)
  4. Select Account Type: Customer or Prospect
  5. Add contact person details (name, email, phone)
  6. Select classifications: Customer Type, Trade Type, Sales Area
  7. Assign a Sales Person and set Payment Terms
  8. Click "Save" to create the customer

Customer Information Fields

Basic Information

  • Account Name - Business or individual name
  • Account Type - Customer or Prospect
  • Email - Primary contact email
  • Image - Company logo

Classification

  • Customer Type - Category (Retail, Wholesale)
  • Trade Type - Industry sector
  • Sales Area - Geographic region
  • Pricing Type - Price list assignment

Sales Settings

  • Sales Person - Assigned representative
  • Payment Terms - Credit terms (COD, Net 30)
  • Delivery Type - Shipping preference
  • Visit Frequency - Service schedule

Contacts

  • Contact Name - Person's name
  • Contact Type - Primary/Secondary
  • Phone/Mobile - Contact numbers
  • Role/Department - Position info

Tips

  • Add multiple contacts per customer for different departments
  • Use the bulk import feature to add customers from spreadsheets
  • Keep customer classifications updated for better reporting
