Learn how to set up and manage multiple warehouse locations in ServX Pro.
Creating a Warehouse
- Navigate to Inventory → Warehouses
- Click "New Warehouse"
- Enter warehouse name and code
- Add address and contact details
- Set as default warehouse if applicable
- Configure warehouse settings
- Click "Save"
Warehouse Settings
Location
- Name - Warehouse identifier
- Code - Short reference
- Address - Physical location
- Contact - Manager details
Operations
- Default - Primary warehouse
- Active - Enable/disable
- Allow Sales - Sell from here
- Allow Receive - Accept goods
Warehouse Types
Main Warehouse
Primary storage location. Typically handles receiving and distribution.
Retail Store
Point of sale location. Stock used for direct customer sales.
Transit
Temporary location for goods in transit between warehouses.
Multi-Warehouse Stock View
View stock levels across all warehouses from a single screen:
- See total and per-warehouse quantities
- Filter by warehouse to focus on specific locations
- Identify stock imbalances between locations
- Initiate transfers directly from the view
Tips
- Use meaningful warehouse codes for quick identification
- Set up transit warehouses for inter-location transfers
- Assign warehouse managers for accountability
